Asim Bajramović

Asim Bajramović (born 11 October 1956) is a Bosnian song and poetry writer currently residing in the United States.
Born to Sabit and Ðuma Bajramovic, Asim is the oldest of 3 children and grew up in Bosnia and Herzegovina in a settlement Orahovice near Bileća. He moved to Zavidovići in 1975 where he married in 1980 and had 2 sons. In 1995, Asim and his family moved to Chicago, Illinois.
He currently resides in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. He drives cross country full-time and now does most of his song writing while on the road. He has written many songs which were sung by popular performers on stage, radio and television, as well as sold on CDs in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the U.S. His songs were also heard on Bosnian ethnic radio and television shows in the United States. His songs can also be found in video form on the internet. His poetry was published in book form by Udruženje za Kulturu - Novo Sarajevo (Cultural Center New Sarajevo) in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
